Mostly known in the industry as sand and finish or sanding and refinishing; It’s a process used to restore your hardwood flooring to it’s original luster and beauty. Whether they are antique floors or stained from pets, most floors can be refinished.
We, at Elite Hardwood Restoration, use the most up-to-date methods and advanced techniques approved by the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) for refinishing hardwood floors. We use state of the art professional hardwood flooring dustless sanding equipment which sets us apart from the competition.
Not all sanding jobs are created equal. While most hardwoods and engineered floors can be sanded, there are some floors that can’t be. For example, if your old hardwood floors have been cleaned with certain chemicals or have had a wax finish applied. Or if there isn’t enough wood surface on your engineered wood floors. If you aren’t certain, ask a professional. They will need to actually see the floors to determine whether they can be sanded or not. Always get a second opinion. Not every company takes the time, has the experience or knowledge to advise you or uses the best equipment and applies all processes required to deliver a level, smooth surface that will last many years into the future.
Call us or email us today for a free estimate, with no obligation on your part to hire us. We will take the time to examine your floors, explain the entire process and let you know of your options. We will also answer any and all question you may have.
